VietnamCost answers the question every traveller asks: how much does it cost in Vietnam? We build simple calculators for airport fares, daily budgets, visas, money and tipping, based in Ho Chi Minh City.
How we get our numbers
- Fares come from ride-hailing apps, transport operators and booking platforms, checked against recent traveller reports. Each page shows its sources.
- Visa rules come from Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and government resolutions, and we link to the official e-visa portal.
- Exchange rates update live from a public rates feed.
- Every page shows the date it was last checked. Prices change — if you spot something out of date, tell us.
How we make money
The site is free. Some pages link to partners (airport transfers, hotels, tours, eSIMs). If you book through those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partners never change our numbers.
